The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) is the state’s leading venue for live performance, offering something for everyone in an environment that fosters innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship and learning. Each year QPAC showcases the best in performance from Australia and around the world. The centre’s versatile venues accommodate for a wide variety of performances including dance, musicals, theatre, opera, comedy and contemporary and classical music concerts featuring leading Queensland, Australian and international actors, dancers, musicians and artists. In addition, QPAC produces some of Australia's most innovative and successful shows, educational activities and free outdoor programs. Welcoming almost three-quarters of a million people each year, QPAC aims to offer visitors a premier live performance experience. QPAC is located at the northern end of the Parklands in the Queensland Cultural Centre, South Bank.
