Safety is extremely important to the South Bank aesthetic and you can be assured that Streets Beach is patrolled by experienced, professional lifeguards seven days a week. Calm waters ensure there are no waves or dangerous rips like on coastal beaches. Streets Beach is a great place to relax and have fun with friends and family.

To ensure the safety of all of our visitors, Streets Beach is patrolled by qualified lifeguards at the following times:
- 9:00am until 5:00pm (up until Saturday, 31 August 2013. After this point, the hours will extend).
