Important notice: Please note that the northern lift in South Bank's undercover car park is currently closed due to refurbishment. It will reopen in early June 2013. Until it is fixed, pease use the lift near the car park's Tribune Street entrance.
 
Parking at South Bank is easy at the Parklands' undercover car park. Accessible from Little Stanley Street, the car park offers more than 800 spaces, including eight disabled bays with lift and stair accessibility from both the north and south entrances.
 
To ensure effective traffic flow, the Parklands’ car park is fully automated. Pay stations are located at the lifts and main stairwells with both cash and credit card options available. You can also pay via credit card at the gates upon exiting. The car park has a height restriction of 2.1 metres.
 
South Bank's parking rates are as follows:
 
0 - 30 min                $6
30 min - 1 hour        $9
1 - 1.5 hours            $12
1.5 - 2 hours            $15
2 - 2.5 hours            $18
2.5 - 3 hours            $21
3 - 4 hours               $24
4 -5 hours                $30
5+ hours                  $36
Daily Maximum         $36
 
Early Bird Rate (weekdays only): Enter before 9:30 am and exit before 6:00 pm $20

Night Rate (weekdays only): Enter after 6:00 pm and exit before 1:00 am $15

Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays:

0–3 Hours $15
3–4 Hours $24
4–5 Hours $30
5 Hours + $36

The Parklands’ car park closes at 1:00am each night. Removing your car after this time incurs a let out fee of $80.
