Designed to encourage ‘dwell time’, the colourful sling back chairs are a regular meeting spot for students, professionals, families and international visitors alike. Perfect for a catch up with friends; a quick spot of coffee escapism; a work meeting; or place to sit, relax and unwind. The chairs are available on Little Stanley Street lawns every day from 10:00 am - late. South Bank Celebrations Spring has sprung, so why not celebrate the warm weather and our relaxed Brisbane lifestyle with a visit to South Bank’s Streets Beach, Australia’s only inner-city beach? Pack a picnic basket and have a sizzling BBQ at one of the many excellent facilities, with scenic views, dotted around the Parklands. Or for a more casual vibe, grab a spot under a shady Moreton Bay Fig, enjoy a takeaway pizza from La Via and uncork your favourite drop. The South Bank Visitor Centre is located in Stanley Street Plaza – next to Max Brenner – and is open between 9:00am and 5:00pm daily.
