Parking Guidance System

Keep your eyes peeled!

The system provides available space indication for, and direction to, the following car parks in the South Bank area:

1. QPAC, QLD Art Gallery & Museum and Stanley Place Car Park
   
2. Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre Car Parks (off Grey and Merivale Streets)
3. The South Bank Parklands Underground Car Park (off Little Stanley Street)
   

QPAC, QLD Art Gallery & Musuem and Stanley Place Car Parks

Pre-paid Theatre Parking

Take advantage of the pre-paid car parking service, which offers guaranteed, safe and convenient parking for your visit to the theatre. The car park ticket will be issued with your theatre tickets, ready for you to use on the night. This facility is limited per performance, so arrange your car parking early! QLD Art Gallery & Museum Car Park

(direct access to the Queensland Art Gallery, Museum & Sciencentre)
Entry via Cultural Centre tunnel.

Stanley Place Car Park

(direct access to the State Library of QLD and parking for Gallery of Modern Art)
Entry via Cultural Centre tunnel.

Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre Car Park

Open 24 hours 7 days a week.

Automatic pay machines are located in the Exhibition Concourse on the Foyer Level of the Centre and at the Russell Street Exit. There are internal elevators and stair access from the car park to and from the convention and exhibition facilities.

South Bank Parklands Underground Carpark

The Parklands Underground Carpark has more than 800 car parking spaces. Access is via Tribune Street or Glenelg Street, off Little Stanley Street.

The underground car park has a total of 8 x disabled parking bays
located on Level B1.

A total of 4 x disabled bays are located at each of the northern and southern
ends of the car park, adjacent to both lifts and stairs.

MONDAY - FRIDAY (Entry from 5.00am to 6.00pm)

Enter after 6.00pm
Exit before 1.00am (exits after 1.00am will incur an additional fee based on Table A abov

SATURDAY, SUNDAY & PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

• If the 4 hour time limit is exceeded, normal car parking rates apply (see Monday-Friday rates above), calculated from the time of entry into the car park

SPECIAL OFFER for South Bank Cineplex patrons! Park at The Parklands at South Bank underground car park, collect your cinema parking voucher from the South Bank Cineplex and present it with your parking ticket upon exit and you'll pay just $5! *4 hour parking limit. Terms and conditions apply.

Parking Enforcement at South Bank

Brisbane City Council patrols kerb side parking within the South Bank Corporation area. This has been initiated by the South Bank Corporation to ensure effective utilisation of available parking spaces. Alternative parking arrangements for long term stays greater than one hour are available in the local area.

Infringement notices may be issued to any illegally parked vehicles on South Bank road related areas.

South Bank has plenty of parking options! There are special deals for theatre goers, diners at South Bank, students and people who enter before or after peak times.

At very busy times, the carparks may become full. We encourage people to catch public transport to South Bank for events such as New Year’s Eve or Riverfire
