Enjoy an action packed fortnight of activities at South Bank these school holidays. Children can learn to juggle, tumble and twirl at the Flipside Circus workshops, reach the stars on the Bungee Trampoline, explore the mind of a genius at the Da Vinci Machines Exhibition and much more.

FLIPSIDE CIRCUS WORKSHOPS

Kids can clown around these school holidays at the Flipside Circus workshops. Children of all ages can learn how to juggle, tumble and twirl at the drop in sessions from Monday 6 July to Friday 10 July. For more advanced skill training, register now for a three day intensive workshop commencing Monday 6 July. All workshops are held in the Suncorp Piazza by the best circus performers.

   

FLIPSIDE CIRCUS PERFORMANCE

Roll up, roll up and see a spectacular free Flipside Circus performance these school holidays. Be amazed by skills of juggling, trapeze, acrobatics, tumbling and much more in a special South Bank performance from professional and student circus performers on Wednesday 8 July at 11.30am at the Suncorp Piazza.

A fun, action packed show the whole family will enjoy. 

   

BUNGEE TRAMPOLINE

Bounce into school holiday fun at South Bank with Bungee Trampoline. Operating from Friday 26 June to Sunday 12 July, the Bungee Trampoline is fun for all ages.

The Bungee Trampoline is located beside the Suncorp Piazza and is $10 per ride. Don't miss the two for one offer on Tuesdays.

   

DA VINCI MACHINES EXHIBITION

Explore the mind of the greatest genius of all time at the Da Vinci Machines Exhibition, open 10am - 6pm daily. The exhibition features over 60 reproductions of Da Vinci's famous machines and inventions and provides a stimulating, entertaining and educational experience for children and adults alike. 

Receive a free gift with every child entry these school holidays.  

   

THE WHEEL OF BRISBANE

Enjoy a sky high experience on the Wheel of Brisbane with the whole family. Take some time out to enjoy spectacular views of Brisbane form almost 60 metres high in the comfort of a fully enclosed air conditioned capsule.

Experience more with the Wheel of Brisbane's new audio tour which will guide you through the breathtaking views and skyline features. 

   

THE QUEEN OF COLOURS

The Queen of Colours is a whimsical tale for U8s and their families about colouring outside of the lines. This live perofrmance will feature painting, shadow puppetry, video projection, storytelling… and a live accordion player.

Enjoy this delightful production during school holidays from Tuesday 30 June to Saturday 4 July at the State Library of Queensland.

South Bank captures the imagination of children of all ages, whether it be enjoying the open green spaces, special events, Streets Beach or Aquativity. Be entertained at South Bank.

 Aquativity

AQUATIVITY, a fun and interactive water-play park is a great location for children and families to play, learn and enjoy the outdoors. Open daily from 7am - 7pm.

Aquativity features educational play elements referencing the river, and helps to create an early understanding of the water cycle and its preservation.  Immersing children in an interactive experience, Aquativity also highlights the native fish and mammal species of mullet and dugong, the interesting pattern of the river catchments and the importance of indigenous, environmental and urban elements to the river.
