Just in time to launch her Spring/Summer 2008 collection, renowned Brisbane fashion designer Masayo Yasuki has opened a new flagship store for her women's clothing brand, dogstar, at South Bank

The new store is the third the talented designer has opened in Brisbane since launching her label in 1998.  The label has developed a strong following nation-wide, and is stocked in more than 40 boutiques across the country.

Masayo says the new store has provided her with her first opportunity to create a concept from a blank shell.  "This gave us the opporunity to try out new ideas and break a few rules.  I love the material combinations in the store and how it suits the style of our clothing," she said.

With a Japanese influence, Masayo says her innovative label is defined by structure, chaos, life as art and anarchy.
