Festivals & Events

South Bank is the place where Brisbane comes to celebrate. Thousands of people enjoy this public space for fireworks and the atmosphere of celebrating together, as a city.

Some of the special annual events include Christmas, Street's New Year's Eve and Australia Day celebrations. You can also take part in Buddha's Birthday, the Brisbane Festival, Riverfestival and the Brisbane Writers Festival.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

 Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of acoustic music with live performances from local Artists at Acoustic in the Park, on Sunday 19 July.

From 12noon, the Rainforest Green will provide the perfect location to enjoy your weekend and relax with friends, enjoy good music, a barbecue and a relaxing drink.

Former Acoustic in the Park winner, Anna Weatherup will perform as the headline act with eight local, original songwriters and performers completing the afternoon’s line up.

Finalists will have the chance to win a Maton acoustic guitar valued at more than $1000, and potentially launch a musical career.
