South Bank is Brisbane’s leading destination for events, offering a mix of iconic venues, open green spaces, and riverfront views.

To ensure all events are delivered safely, professionally, and in harmony with the precinct’s operations, all organisers must follow the event application process and adhere to key operational requirements.

Event Application Process

To host your event at South Bank, please complete and submit an Event Enquiry Form with your proposed dates, preferred location(s), event concept, budget and estimated attendance.

All enquiries are assessed against key selection criteria to ensure alignment with South Bank Corporation’s Event Policy. Please note the below lead times:

Event Type

Minimum Application Notice

Events with more than 1,000 people:

Minimum 16 weeks

Events with less than 1,000 people:

Minimum 12 weeks

Cultural Forecourt Events:

Minimum 6 months

South Bank Corporation reserves the right to decline enquiries submitted with insufficient notice.

Please note weddings are not permitted at South Bank.
