Annie has captured hearts around the globe for generations, and now the legendary musical returns to Brisbane as a symbol of hope and optimism - opening at QPAC’s Lyric Theatre from 27 December for 5 weeks only.
Starring Anthony Warlow, Debora Krizak, Mackenzie Dunn, Keanu Gonzalez, Amanda Lea LaVergne, Greg Page — and of course, Sandy the dog — Annie is “theatrical sunshine” (Limelight).
This updated production, directed by Karen Johnson Mortimer with choreography by Mitchell Woodcock, brings a fresh energy to the beloved story of little orphan Annie, her unwavering optimism, and the timeless songs that generations have adored -including Tomorrow and It’s the Hard-Knock Life.
