Tiramisu has officially become a competitive sport. Ma Pa Me is putting a Southeast Asian spin on the Italian classic with Brisbane’s first all-you-can-scoop tiramisu experience, and there’s only one rule: make your scoop count.
For $19, diners get a serving spoon and one chance to scoop as much of Ma Pa Me’s signature Thai Tea Tiramisu as they can from a family-sized tray. No carefully portioned slice, no polite little serving. Just you, a very large spoon and as much tiramisu as you can successfully pile onto it.
The tiramisu itself is a fragrant twist on the Italian favourite, swapping traditional coffee for iconic Thai tea. Creamy, aromatic and seriously moreish, it brings together two beloved desserts cultures in one very scoopable creation.
Naturally, it’s the kind of dessert that calls for a group of friends, a camera and a little bit of competitive spirit. The only catch is that you get one attempt, so there’s no going back for a second try if your first scoop doesn’t quite live up to expectations.
There’s also a little planning involved. Trays are limited each day, so advance bookings are required, along with the purchase of another full-priced item on the day. Book here.
