Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter of this competition is South Bank Corporation (ABN 95 927 817 538) of South Bank House Stanley Street Plaza, South Bank QLD 4101 (the “Promoter”).  

2. These Terms and Conditions set out all of the information regarding the Win A Month Of Art Café At Cork & Chroma For You And Your Bestie (the “Terms and Conditions”).  

3. Information on how to enter this competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions.  

4. Competition entry is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.  

5. Prize: There is one (1) prize to be won. The prize consists of one (1) $360 voucher to use for four (4) Art Café sessions for you and a friend at Cork & Chroma South Bank.

The Prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any additional expenses incurred by the Prize winner, other than those outlined in these Terms and Conditions, are the responsibility of the Prize winner.  

The Prize is subject to the specific terms and conditions of the Prize provider and the Prize winner will not be entitled to any monetary compensation in connection with the Prize.  

The Prize must be redeemed by the Prize winner.  

6. Competition period: This competition will open at 4pm AEST on  Wednesday 17 March and close at 5pm AEST on Tuesday, 14 April 2026. No entries will be accepted after the competition has closed.  

7. How to enter:

Entrants must complete and submit the entry via the link provided through South Bank Corporation electronic direct mail (eDM), online listings or social media posts during the Promotional Period. Limit of one (1) entry per person.

Only one entry per person will be accepted, and any subsequent entries will be deemed invalid.  

8. Eligibility: To be eligible to enter this competition, a person must:  

• be a resident of Queensland as provided by the postcode on the online entry form; and  

• not be an employee, contracted staff, or a family member of the Promotor, or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition; and

• be 18 years or older.

9. Competition draw: The winner of the competition will be the first eligible entry randomly drawn by an officer of the Promoter at 10:00am AEST on Wednesday, 15  April 2026 at South Bank House Stanley Street Plaza, South Bank QLD 4101.  

The decision of that officer will be conclusive, and no correspondence will be entered into.  

10. Winner notification: The winners will be notified via email by an officer of the Promoter by 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday 15 April 2026

11. Prize claim and Prize re-draw: The winners must claim the Prize by using return email to confirm that they accept by 5:00pm AEST on Friday 17 April 2026. (the Prize Claim Date).  

If the Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date, that winner (as originally drawn) will cease to be the winner and will not be entitled to claim the Prize. The Promoter will be entitled to draw a new winner and provide a period of time for that new winner to claim the Prize. If that new winner fails to claim the Prize in the applicable period of time, that new winner will cease to be the winner and will not be entitled to claim the Prize. This redraw process may continue to apply on any number of occasions (at the discretion of the Promoter), until such time as the Prize is claimed by a winner within the applicable period.  

The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to not award the Prize to any entrant, including without limitation, if the Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or any subsequent period provided for a new winner to claim the Prize.  

12. Prize redeem: Once the Prize winner has claimed the Prize, the Promoter will organise for the voucher to be emailed to an email address supplied by the winner.  

13. The competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by Queensland law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

14. No liability of Promoter: The Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever for late, misplaced, lost or ineligible entries. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the Prize. Despite any other provision of these Terms and Conditions, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for:  

1. any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct loss, indirect loss, economic loss, special loss or consequential loss) which is suffered or incurred by an entrant (including without limitation any Prize winner); or  

2. without limiting paragraph (a), any personal injury or death or loss of, or damage to, property in connection with the entry into the competition or acceptance of the Prize,  

howsoever such liability arises and whether arising in tort (including without limitation in negligence), for breach of contract (including without limitation under any indemnity), under statute, in equity or otherwise.  

15. To the extent all or any part of condition 14 is found to be contrary to the Australian Consumer Law, but the Australian Consumer Law otherwise permits the Promoter to limit the Promoter’s liability to the value of the Prize or the resupply of the Prize, then the liability of the Promoter is instead limited, at the Promoter’s election, to either:  

1. the value of the Prize; or  

2. the resupply of the Prize,  

howsoever such liability arises and whether arising in tort (including without limitation in negligence), for breach of contract (including without limitation under any indemnity), under statute, in equity or otherwise.  

16. Privacy consent: By entering this competition, the entrant acknowledges and consents to their:  

• personal information being collected by the Promoter in accordance with the South Bank Corporation Privacy Policy;  

• collection and storage of their name and email address by the Promotor for marketing purposes. The entrant may opt-out at any time.

• The Information being managed and distributed through Mail Chimp an email marketing platform, for the purpose of administering the competition and associated communications.

• The entrant’s personal information (including name and email address) may be disclosed to Cork & Chroma as a prize provider for the purposes of administering the Prize and for Cork & Chroma's marketing and promotional communications.

• By entering the competition, the entrant consents to receiving marketing communications from Cork & Chroma . Entrants may opt out of Cork & Chroma marketing communications at any time in accordance with Cork & Chroma's privacy policy.

17. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner will be used solely in accordance with Queensland data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

18. The winner’s name may be published on our social media pages.

19. Force Majeure: If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition) the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify all entries from any individual who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with, the entry process which as a result corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition.  

20. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest or strikes, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same Terms and Conditions.

21. Competition updates or cancellation: The Promoter reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, including amending key dates in conditions 6,7, 9, 10 and 11 at any time, and to cancel or amend the competition at any time without notice or further recourse to the entrants.
