OTTO’s Pasta Club Just Went Midweek And Your Desk Lunch Could Never

Long lunch done properly

Long lunches are officially back on the agenda because OTTO Ristorante has expanded its cult-favourite Pasta Club from a Sundays-only affair to a Wednesday-to-Sunday situation. Translation? You now have five perfectly valid excuses to ditch the sad desk lunch and replace it with house-made pasta and wine overlooking the Brisbane River.

Running from 12pm to 3pm, Pasta Club is your excuse to swap limp salads and rushed takeaway for a long lunch done properly, riverside views included. For $45 per person, guests can settle in for a fresh house-made pasta crafted by Head Chef Richard Ptacnik, paired with a matching glass of wine and finished with dessert because OTTO understands that no great lunch should end abruptly.

The menu rotates, giving regulars a reason to keep coming back, while the relaxed atmosphere makes it equally suited to client lunches, overdue catch-ups or simply treating yourself because you survived another Wednesday. If your calendar suddenly has a suspiciously blocked-out lunch slot this week, we fully support it.

Of course, Sundays still bring the vibes with live music carrying through the restaurant while diners linger over wine and one more round of dessert. But the real win here is being able to channel that same long lunch energy across almost the entire week.

Whether you’re gathering the group chat, planning a date lunch or escaping the office for a couple of hours, Pasta Club delivers the kind of leisurely Italian-inspired dining experience Brisbane never gets tired of.

Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability. Reserve your spot here.
