PSA: Limited-Edition Crepes Have Arrived at C'est Du Gateau

Try them before December 15...

South Bank has a new contender for your afternoon sweet fix, and it comes folded, filled and drizzled with all the good stuff. C'est Du Gateau has dropped a limited-edition crepe menu spanning chocolatey classics, dessert-inspired signatures and savoury options that could easily double as dinner. Running Wednesday to Sunday, from 4pm to 9pm until 15 December, it's one to bookmark for your next South Bank wander.

‍

The Classic Crepes
First up, the classics. The lemon sugar crepe keeps it simple with butter, sugar and lemon juice, while the Nutella option is all about warm chocolate-hazelnut goodness. If you like a little extra with your chocolate, there's banana Nutella with fresh banana, or strawberry Nutella topped with fresh strawberries. No overthinking required, just pick your favourite and get stuck in.

‍

The Signature Crepes
Things get a little more indulgent in the signature line-up. The crème brûlée crepe takes the much-loved dessert in a new direction, with custard, whipped cream, fresh strawberries and strawberry coulis. It's joined by the Dubai, which layers pistachio custard, fresh strawberries, Nutella and kataifi for a mix of creamy, chocolatey and crunchy in every bite.

‍

For the fruit fans, strawberry Chantilly brings together fresh strawberries, whipped cream and strawberry coulis. Then there's Banoffee, pairing fresh banana with whipped cream and salted caramel. It's a strong line-up for anyone who likes their dessert with a little extra going on.

‍

The Savoury Crepes
Of course, not every crepe needs to end with a sugar hit. The savoury range has four options to choose from, starting with the chicken crepe that features mushrooms, cheese, egg, spinach and aioli sauce. The ham and cheese crepe adds mushrooms, egg and spinach to the familiar combination.

‍

The Sicilian brings a Mediterranean-inspired mix of pesto, bocconcini, prosciutto and spinach, while the pulled pork option pairs pulled pork with cheese, spinach and barbecue sauce. If you're stopping by after work and need something more substantial than a sweet treat, these are worth a look.

‍

Keen to try the line-up? You’ll have until 13 December to work your way through the limited-edition crepes, so best get cracking before they’re gone.
