A Dinosaur-Filled Day Out Is Coming to South Bank

Family-friendly fun awaits...

A prehistoric adventure is heading to South Bank, and there’s a way to get ahead of the ticket rush. Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo is stomping into South Bank Piazza these school holidays from 9 to 17 January, bringing lifelike prehistoric creatures, interactive encounters and plenty of family-friendly fun.

‍

Created by leading Australian puppetry company Erth Visual & Physical Inc, the 45-minute live show combines lifelike puppetry, Aussie humour and fascinating palaeontology insights to bring the dinosaur world to life.

‍

Among the prehistoric stars is Australovenator wintonensis, a meat-eating dinosaur discovered in Queensland and represented by the most complete carnivorous dinosaur skeleton found in Australia. Young dinosaur enthusiasts can get up close to these remarkable creatures while discovering more about how they lived, with interactive moments that invite them to learn how to feed and engage with the dinosaurs.

‍

Designed for children aged three and up, the experience goes beyond the show itself. Families can also get creative with pre-show crafts and workshops or take things a step further with a special behind-the-scenes add-on.

‍

Keen to be part of the action? Enter the competition to join the waitlist for Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo tickets, giving you the chance to get first access when tickets become available. There’s also a family pass valued at $110 and a $200 South Bank dining voucher up for grabs, making this one prehistoric adventure worth entering here.
