Must Dine Langmeil 12.0 at The Charming Squire marks a special milestone, celebrating 12 years of its Langmeil Wine Dinner series alongside the 20th anniversary of the iconic Orphan Bank Shiraz. This one-night-only experience brings together a five-course menu and seven expertly matched wines for an elevated evening of food, wine and storytelling.
Guests can expect a carefully curated journey through the Barossa, guided by the Langmeil team as they share the history and character behind each pour. The experience moves through vibrant whites, structured blends and bold reds, each designed to complement the progression of the menu.
The five-course menu begins with Moreton Bay prawns, satay, chilli and peanuts paired with 2025 Yabby Tale Grenache Blanc. Seared scallops with peas, prosciutto and caviar follow alongside a 2025 Three Gardens Viognier Marsanne Roussanne.
Heartier dishes include roast duck with parsnip, asparagus and honey matched to 2023 Massimo Montepulciano Primitivo and 2024 Geologist GSM. The highlight course features glazed pork loin with caramelised apple and celeriac, paired with both 2016 and 2026 Orphan Bank Shiraz.
To finish, a 25-year Liqueur Tawny is served alongside sticky date and toffee pudding with port and raisin ice cream.
The event takes place on Thursday 11 June at 6.30pm, priced at $149 per person, including five courses and seven matched wines. Reserve your spot here.
