Griffith University Art Museum (GUAM) is a free public art gallery located in Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art and Design campus.
Contemporary art is a key focus of exhibitions presented at GUAM which features year round programs showcasing innovative paintings, photography, sculpture and video art, from themed and solo surveys of established artists to new work by emerging artists.
Griffith University Art Museum is also the custodian of the 2nd largest publicly owned art collection in Queensland. Since its founding in 1974, the Griffith University Art Collection has had a strong commitment to collecting works by contemporary Australian and Asia Pacific artists whose works engage with debates within the wider community and within art practices, and to support both emerging as well as established artists.
