River Quay Green
Set right on the water’s edge, River Quay Green is one of South Bank’s most scenic spots to slow down and soak it all in.
This open, grassy riverside space looks out across the Brisbane River to the city skyline, making it a go-to for sunset picnics, laid-back catch ups and weekend lounging. It’s framed by some of South Bank’s favourite dining spots, so you’re only ever a few steps away from coffee, cocktails or a long lunch that turns into dinner.
Every Sunday, the Green comes alive with live music at Sunday Social from 2pm to 5pm, showcasing some of Brisbane’s best local acts. Bring a picnic rug, grab takeaway from nearby restaurants or settle in with friends and let the soundtrack of the afternoon roll on.
