A historical goldmine, Queensland Maritime Museum is located at the heritage-listed South Brisbane Dry Dock. Constructed to aid in repairing and building ships, the dock was operational until 1973, and today the World War II navel vessel HMAS Diamantina berthed in the dry docks forms the centrepiece of the museum's extensive collection of Australian and international maritime history. For more information visit the Queensland Maritime Museum website.
